Elaine Davidson is the world record holder
for body piercing, according to the Guinness World Records.
She is pictured above on the High Street in Edinburgh, Scotland.
The former nurse from Brazil, now living in Edinburgh, first
broke the record in May 2000. When examined then by a Guinness
World Record official, she had 462 piercings, including 192
in her face alone. By August 2001 when she was re-examined
her piercings had grown to 720. When she performed at the
Edinburgh Festival in 2005, it was reported by the Guardian
newspaper that she had an amazing 3,950 body piercings.
