This Newfoundland town has gained
a certain amount of unwanted attention because of
its unusual name. It achieved greater notoriety when
it was mentioned in a song by the Canadian musical
comedy group The Arrogant Worms. You won't be surprised
to learn that the place has a fast growing tourism
industry. The town's name is also the traditional
name for the two round pegs in a dory (small traditional
rowboat) which braces the oars when rowing.
